About the Role

Position: Lead Data Engineer (Remote)

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will design and develop reusable data integration components, frameworks, and libraries at scale to support our Operational Data Store and Enterprise Data Lake Platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, framework-driven, and efficient data pipelines using scripting languages such as Python, Airflow, Dbt, and Cloud databases like Snowflake, RedShift.
  • Implement data integration solutions for various data sources, including SFDC, Product Telemetry, and NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and data scientists to support data platform automation needs.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in designing and developing data pipeline automation, especially extracting data from Cloud API based sources.
  • Proficiency in developing complex automation frameworks, queries, data modeling, and ETL processes using SQL, Python, or similar technical languages.
  • Extensive experience with scripting languages like Python and Cloud databases such as Snowflake, Redshift.
  • Expertise in transforming structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes such as Jenkins and Gitlab CI/CD, and source control tools like GitHub.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve data management issues, improving data quality and optimizing data for ingestion and consumption.
  • Experience working collaboratively with teammates to review design, code, and test plans.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SaaS security companies and building SaaS metrics is preferred.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $185,000 per year plus variable/incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
