Role Overview: Lead Data Engineer, SVP - Cloud & Platforms Engineering

We are on the lookout for an experienced Lead Data Engineer with expert knowledge in data architecture, ETL processes, and team leadership. This pivotal role focuses on improving our data infrastructure and processes, ensuring optimal data quality, and leading a team of talented data engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate automated data consumption and collaboration with both business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Optimize and monitor ETL processes ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Define and implement best practices and standards for data warehousing.
• Lead, mentor, and enhance the skillset of our data engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in data engineering with proven experience in managing complex data environments.
• Proficiency in Snowflake and strong Python programming skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design solutions for data warehouses and implement SDLC best practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and technical communication abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Vector Stores such as Pinecone and DevOps/CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of traditional database platforms (SQL Server, MySQL) and AWS Services.
• Familiarity with financial data including market data and trade/positions data.

Compensation and Benefits:

The expected annual base salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $275,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. Please note that the base salary does not include additional forms of compensation or benefits.
