Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will:

• Develop and execute software solutions, tackling design, development, and technical troubleshooting while thinking innovatively to solve complex problems.
• Write secure, high-quality production code and create pivotal architecture and design artifacts.
• Analyze and synthesize large data sets to improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify and address hidden issues in data, enhancing coding practices and system architecture.
• Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines using Spark SQL, Java, and AWS Services, integrating various programming languages and AWS tools.
• Contribute to the software engineering community, promoting a culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

• A BS Degree in a relevant STEM field with over 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Scala, Python, and Spark-based frameworks.
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases and AWS implementations, including data services and security.
• A thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional expertise in:

• Multiple modern programming languages and advanced solution design across enterprise platforms is advantageous.
