Job Description
Your mission? 🧑💻
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a central role in our clients' data strategy. You'll determine its structure and guide them in making data-driven decisions. Together with Sven, our Head of Data & Analytics, you will engage with the client to establish what can be achieved with their data and how it can be utilized to address various business challenges. Our project managers will constantly support you to provide superior solutions in the burgeoning cloud market. You'll receive unwavering support from a Data Tribe filled with proactive engineers.
Qualifications
Necessary qualifications? 🌟
- Experience with Terraform, CI/CD
- Understanding of data-architecture and data-infrastructure
- Experience with Data Engineering & data pipelines
- Pipeline development experience with Python, Golang, or Java
- Experience in Google Cloud or other cloud environments & data processing solutions
- Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Comfort in interacting with senior management & clients
- Able to set a positive example for junior team members
- Excellent English skills, and preferably French or Dutch
Desirable qualifications
- Knowledge of tools like Apache Spark, Beam, and/or Kafka
- Enjoyment in coaching & mentoring a team
