Your Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Data Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing innovative tools for grid modeling, load management, and simulation methodologies.
  • Building digital twins for properties across North America.
  • Leading the way in transportation electrification infrastructure modeling.
  • Actively participating in business development initiatives and playing an advisory role to clients.
  • Enhancing data-driven decision making and influencing grid modernization strategies.

What We Need From You (Minimum Qualifications)

Your background should include:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant engineering or data fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in energy analytics or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and other open-source data science tools.
  • Experience with smart meter data and advanced data analytics methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

We would be particularly excited if you have:

  • PhD in relevant technical fields.
  • Experience with DERMS, ADMS, or power system modeling tools like CYME, OpenDSS, or WindMil.
  • Proven track record of leading projects from inception through completion.
