Job Description:

We are eagerly seeking a Senior Data Scientist for our CIS Analytic Consulting group. In this critical role, you’ll leverage cutting-edge technologies and a data-centric approach to solve complex problems and drive strategic insights across various industries throughout the consumer credit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex credit bureau data to make informed decisions.
  • Enhance algorithmic efficiency and optimize code in a robust Big Data environment.
  • Act as an internal expert on Python and Spark, providing leadership and training to our analytics team.
  • Engage with stakeholders through comprehensive presentations, showcasing model results and strategic insights.
  • Design and execute tests to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
  • Contribute to high-stake modeling and analytical projects, driving innovation and impactful results.
  • Develop new data analytics products and services, aligning with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Financial Services or similar analytical environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and Spark, with strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from inception to delivery, with significant business implications.
  • Expertise in translating data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
