As a Lead Data Scientist within our Advanced Analytics division, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that pave the way for informed decision-making. You will immerse yourself in understanding client-specific business needs, converting them into analytical challenges, and addressing them using state-of-the-art methodologies. Leading a team of professionals in machine learning, data engineering, and analytics, you will spearhead projects that craft scalable and robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master and implement cutting-edge programming languages, algorithms, and applications.
- Evaluate the potential of existing data, crafting strategies for its enhancement and future exploitation.
- Utilize expertise in Machine Learning techniques and tools such as Python, SQL, and R to develop tailored solutions.
- Expand your professional landscape into data engineering and visualization sectors.
- Design and refine models to deepen understanding of customer behaviors and satisfaction triggers.
- Lead the development of statistical models to optimize business processes and aid strategic decision-making.
- Work with advanced technology stacks including Hadoop, Redshift, and Spark.
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in Python or R, and in crafting complex SQL queries in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
- Proven track record in risk modeling, anomaly detection, marketing analytics, and building data pipelines.
- Strong statistical knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques.
- Prior consulting experience.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Machine Learning, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in utilities sector, bayesian modeling, and simulation.
Logic20/20 offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $230,000 based on experience and locale, with potential for performance bonuses and incentives.
