Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze Complex Financial Datasets: Spearhead the analysis of complex financial data, utilizing statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations.
• Develop Predictive Models and Algorithms: Drive the creation of advanced models and algorithms to improve forecast accuracy, anomaly detection, and support vital risk management functions.
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis: Oversee exploratory data initiatives to extract actionable insights, formulate hypotheses, and set strategic directions.
• Apply Machine Learning Algorithms: Implement a spectrum of machine learning solutions, from regression and classification to clustering and deep learning, tackling intricate business challenges and advancing fintech solutions.
• Train, Validate, and Optimize Models: Lead model training, validation, and optimization efforts to ensure maximal performance, leveraging cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, and effective feature selection.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Partner with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate and scale machine learning solutions within production environments.
• Communicate Insights and Recommendations: Deliver insightful presentations and reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
• Data Preparation and Feature Engineering: Lead data cleaning and transformation efforts to prep data for analysis and modeling, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Position Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in FinTech.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, with exceptional mentorship skills and forward-thinking business acumen.
• Solid technical foundation in mathematical/statistical modeling, machine learning, AI algorithms, and familiarity with graph models and databases.
• Proficient in data preprocessing, machine learning lifecycle, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP, fluent in SQL and Python, and skilled in data visualization.
• Understanding of MLOps practices.
