The Role: Data Strategy Lead

We're looking for a dynamic Data Strategy Lead to propel our Data Strategy group forward. In this role, you will:

• Research Data Ecosystems: Identify, evaluate, and introduce new data and research sources to internal teams.
• Manage Provider Relationships: Facilitate service changes, ensure compliance with firm contracts, and stay abreast of market trends.
• Lead a Team: Oversee a small team of data strategists.
• Build Internal Relationships: Address queries from investment teams, collaborate with Compliance, and support new hires.
• Coordinate Onboarding: Assess content requirements, negotiate terms, and manage approvals for new content providers.

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
• 4-6 years of experience in alternative data or financial services (buy-side/sell-side, ideally in macro investing).
• Experience with contract and pricing negotiations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and quality standards.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business units.
• Commitment to high ethical standards and close work with Compliance.

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this role is $135,000-$185,000 (USD), excluding discretionary bonus compensation and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level.
