Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is seeking a seasoned ML/AI engineer to spearhead the implementation of effective ML/AI-based solutions and processes, and to help craft their ML/AI strategy. They need a candidate who could devise and execute an AI strategy to meet two distinct immediate requirements of their business. Role: Chief Machine Learning Engineer Location: Fully Remote (UK) Annual Salary: Up to £90,000 As the ML/AI Lead, your responsibilities would include reviewing their backlog of ML/AI oriented projects and devising, expanding, and leading a team to collaborate with you on implementation. Key Requirements: - Design, construct, deliver, and manage comprehensive ML/AI solutions that can enhance, organise, and enrich their data accurately and cost-effectively. - Oversee the ML/AI project pipeline - Provide guidance to team members on ML engineering best practices. - Offer strategic advice to senior management on ML/AI planning. Key Skills: - Proficiency in Python for Machine Learning and Data Science. - Familiarity with frameworks used in Machine Learning and Data Science (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). - Knowledge of data science and visualization libraries, including Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, and Seaborn. - Experience with cloud services used for machine learning and data science, like Azure, OpenAI, Hugging Face, AWS ML/AI. - Familiarity with Machine Learning applications development lifecycle processes and tools - MLOps, including creating ETL data pipelines. - Understanding of the latest techniques in Machine Learning, including transformer models, diffusion models, and adversarial machine learning. - Experience in fine-tuning ready-to-use Large Language Models (Hugging Face transformers, BERT).
