About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data team. Fullscript offers a unique opportunity to harness our mission-driven goals and vast data resources to advance integrative care beyond traditional limits. As one of our pioneering Lead Machine Learning Engineers, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the future of integrative care through innovative data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with our Data, Engineering, and Product teams to realize our vision. This role provides a distinct opportunity for you to:
- Develop the premier integrative care platform, enhancing practitioner workflows with treatment plan recommendations and personalized product suggestions based on individual needs and timing.
- Partner with our Data and Engineering teams to create the necessary machine learning infrastructure to achieve our goals.
- Work closely with leadership to identify and exploit opportunities where AI/ML can resolve challenges for practitioners and patients.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems, driving the success and growth of our organization.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership to explore and evaluate opportunities where machine learning and AI can enhance integrative care for our practitioners and patients.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or a similar role, with proven success in cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Data, Product, and UX teams.
- Experience with Large Language Models (GPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.) and LLM frameworks (Langchain).
- Strong capability to understand diverse business domains and offer leadership in finding machine learning applications to solve specific problems.
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical models, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with common machine learning tools and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt (data build tool) or other data transformation tools (Spark).
- Experience with Cloud Data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, and RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience building recommender systems.
