About Your Role

As a Lead MLOps Engineer at Salesforce, you'll be spearheading efforts to scale our Einstein AI and Data Cloud platforms. This role is at the intersection of machine learning and operations, focusing on deployment, monitoring, and maintaining AI models and systems to ensure seamless integration and operational reliability. Our platforms are making over a billion predictions and training thousands of models per day, and your role will be crucial in supporting and advancing these capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new workflows, tools, and automation to enhance our ML pipelines.
• Monitor system performance, data quality, and model effectiveness in production.
• Implement best practices and maintain high standards in ML software development.
• Leverage your expertise to improve our platform's architecture and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with a diverse, global team to innovate and integrate AI technologies.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, addressing high-level technical challenges.

What You Bring

• A technical degree and at least 4 years of experience in machine learning or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML operations tools such as mlFlow, Airflow, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specific to Salesforce Einstein and Data Cloud platforms.
• Deep understanding of DevOps best practices and real-world applications of containerized deployment strategies.
