Role Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the conceptualization and technical design of solutions from end-to-end.
• Improving the developer experience by experimenting with and building advanced platform solutions.
• Enhancing software lifecycle processes, from build and test to deployment and monitoring.
• Supporting product teams through platform-specific migrations and understanding their challenges to develop effective, result-oriented solutions.
• Educating and guiding engineers on best practices and use of our tools through talks, workshops, and documentation.
• Focusing on innovation, maintaining technical debt, and refining system architecture and design patterns.

Role Requirements

What you need to succeed:

• A minimum of 5 years in software engineering with experience in building and distributing platform solutions.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and robust understanding of DevOps tools & technologies including Kubernetes, AWS, Gitlab, and more.
• Proficiency in Kafka and familiarity with database technologies like Debezium.
• A passion for optimizing development processes and automation.
• Experience in mentoring other engineers is a plus, with a balance between strategic and tactical thinking.
