At JPMorgan Chase, within our Corporate Sector Engineer's Platform & Integrate Experience (EPiX) team, we are looking for a visionary Lead Software Engineer to lead initiatives on generative AI development and drive forward the innovative solutions that support our growing business needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Leading a dynamic team of engineers focused on developing generative models for varied applications.
• Collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure smooth product transition into production.
• Designing and constructing custom workflows integrating Language Models (LLMs).
• Developing and maintaining a scalable cloud infrastructure, both private and public.
• Creating front-end interfaces with cutting-edge web technologies.
• Enhancing data integration with modern tools such as Langchain and vector database storage.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven track record with formal training or certification in software engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and Java, and familiarity with web development frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience with machine learning environments like Keras or PyTorch and data handling libraries such as scikit-learn.
• Expertise in cloud services (AWS preferred), containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code practices including Terraform.
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Expertise:

• Experience in advanced generative AI methods, including designing pipelines with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Skills in building microservices using gRPC and/or GraphQL endpoints.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and Agile project management methodologies.
