Your Role and Responsibilities

As a core technical contributor, you will:

• Execute creative software solutions, encompassing design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by peers.
• Identify opportunities to automate or eliminate recurring issues, improving operational stability.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams, focusing on architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability.
• Drive the use of cutting-edge technologies across Software Engineering communities of practice.
• Contribute to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
• 5+ years of applied experience in system design, application development, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Expertise in automation and continuous delivery methods
• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Proven expertise in technical disciplines like cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile technologies
• In-depth understanding of the financial services industry and associated IT systems
• Strong practical experience with cloud-native technologies, particularly AWS

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern front-end technologies
• Proficiency with back-end modern technology stacks, specifically in Golang and/or Python
