What You Can Expect

As our Data Governance Manager, you will immerse yourself in an energizing team environment where you will learn advanced Data Management principles, specialising in Data Governance. Your role involves critical responsibilities such as the integration of source data catalogs into our enterprise data catalog, and working closely with various stakeholders to create, analyze, and maintain data protection policies across different platforms.

Key Responsibilities

You will develop standardized processes for data cataloging, governance, metadata systems, and lineage handling. Your collaboration with database architects and Data Quality and Governance experts will include leveraging Agile methodologies to enhance project deliverability. Audit processes and policy mapping with governance tools are also under your purview, ensuring compliance and effective data management practices.

Desired Expertise

The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in Data Management - Data Governance roles, with a comprehensive understanding of data quality, privacy, security, and lifecycle management. Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools are essential. A deep understanding of the insurance industry and its regulatory requirements will enable you to manage data governance effectively. Exceptional communication skills are crucial for successful stakeholder interaction and policy alignment across departments.
