Job Description

Lean & Digitalization Specialist

As a Lean & Digitalization Specialist, you will be pivotal in supporting, developing, and coordinating the digital initiatives of the Mobility Service Technical team. Your role focuses on designing processes that emphasize automation and digitalization, working on AI solutions to enhance technical support operations, and developing applications to meet daily operational needs. Proficiency in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, including Machine Learning and Deep Learning, is essential.

This role involves significant cross-functional collaboration with teams within Bosch North America and globally, ensuring effective digital strategies and scalable software solutions. Limited travel (up to 10%) is required to support project initiatives and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support software solutions for new service initiatives in the mobility industry.
  • Design and implement processes to enhance automation and digitalization within technical support operations.
  • Work on AI-driven solutions to optimize technical support functions.
  • Develop small applications to address specific operational needs.
  • Implement and maintain RPA solutions to streamline business processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Bosch North America and internationally to ensure cohesive digital strategies.
  • Provide architectural guidance to ensure the scalability and sustainability of software solutions.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to support project initiatives and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with AI technologies and their application in technical support or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of RPA tools and technologies (e.g., PowerAutomate, Automation Anywhere).
  • Understanding of software architecture and ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as required.
  • Experience in the mobility or automotive industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Bosch systems and processes is advantageous.
