Job Opportunity: Level III Full Stack Software Engineers - AI ML Model Development, ML Operations

As a Level III Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing software requirements for multiple AI-based support capabilities, including software architectures, APIs, frameworks, and libraries.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop front-end and back-end software prototypes, components, and tooling to expedite the prototyping process.
• Maintain and guide the development of common libraries and tools utilized by multiple teams.
• Formulate strategic approaches for rapid prototyping of AI capabilities, including Generative AI.
• Collaborate with data scientists, UX designers, cognitive scientists, developers, and testers to create cohesive and scalable AI software designs.
• Document requirements and specifications, and review documentation from other teams and vendors.
• Optimize software designs and architectures to meet performance targets and develop tools and methodologies to profile execution and capture performance metrics.
• Stay informed on the latest AI systems and software architecture trends, design patterns, DevSecOps, and system architecture patterns.
• Work closely with clients and requirements owners to develop product lines.
• Create plans, roadmaps, and software design strategies, and analyze and decompose activities and requirements for software designs across system components and sub-components.
• Document reference architectures and compliance standards.

Requirements

• At least a Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 7-10 years of experience, or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, and at least one more language (Java preferred).
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Experience with back-end runtimes and frameworks like Node.js, Spring, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of modern software architectures like microservices as well as front-end frameworks.
• DevSecOps experience is optional but preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage proactively with team members and external entities.
• Ability to synthesize requirements, recommend technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
• DODD 8140 IAT Level III is optional but preferred.
