About the Role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Advocate Engineer for Computer Vision to join our team. This role is integral to driving the adoption of our Hub platform and Open Source technologies. You'll create and grow vibrant communities, extend the Hub’s use cases, develop tools for an enhanced developer experience, and bring valuable feedback to our team. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with our Open Source, Science, and Product teams.

This is a hands-on technical role and not a marketing position. You’ll contribute to libraries such as Transformers, Diffusers, or Datasets, and collaborate on external projects, making your generalist mindset and technical skills essential.

Role Activities

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:

• Integrate open-source CV libraries with our Hub platform.
• Craft and distribute high-quality content, including demos and blog posts.
• Co-organize events to create state-of-the-art CV models.

About You

If you thrive on developing your Machine Learning skills and driving community engagement, this role is for you. If you can multitask across coding, designing workshops, writing blog posts, and crafting ML memes, you'll fit right in! Engineering prowess paired with excellent communication skills is a must.

A diverse team is our strength. Being fluent in multiple languages and having deep local ecosystem ties are significant advantages. Open Source development experience and engagement on platforms like GitHub, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit are bonuses but not mandatory.
