Your Role: Machine Learning Engineer

We're on the lookout for a strategically-minded, exceptionally organized Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to enhance our team. This full-time role reports directly to the Head of Engineering and is centered on creating a state-of-the-art recommendation engine that delivers hyper-personalized user experiences.

This is a hybrid position based in Manhattan, requiring three days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain our AI-powered services, focusing primarily on our recommendation system.
• Remain at the forefront of ML/AI technology to address complex challenges innovatively.
• Provide insights and support to other engineers and product managers on all things related to ML/AI.
• Collaborate with both frontend & backend teams to optimize data delivery.
• Document software engineering and machine learning best practices and architectural choices.

What We Seek in You:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of coding experience in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as Flask, Node.js, FastAPI.
• Proficient with machine learning fundamentals and tools like TensorFlow/PyTorch, OpenAI/Huggingface, LangChain.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of building relationships across the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and adept at managing projects with tools like Jira and Notion.
