The AWS Migration Services team is looking to hire an ML Engineer with strong proficiency in designing and developing scalable AI/ML systems, a deep passion for cultivating AI-driven products, streamlined communication of engineering insights, and a proven track record in handling complex projects delivering high business value. This role will offer exposure to cutting-edge developments in AI/ML systems, along with experience working with scientists on the scientific end of the spectrum.
The long-term team vision involves the creation of a new generative solution for application modernization and automated refactoring. We are crafting capabilities to generate a modernization blueprint, decompose monolith into micro services, develop test agents, and perform semantic reverse engineering. We are establishing foundational technologies that enable customers to enhance their application agility.
As an ML Engineer, you will design and develop AI/ML products involving large-scale data processing and modeling. You will be required to define needs, devise software designs, implement code specifications, and provide support for products deployed and used by our customers. Your responsibilities as an ML Engineer will include:
* Collaborating with Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers to design and deliver AI/ML solutions in production, at scale.
* Developing ML workflows and entire pipelines for data preparation, training, deployment, monitoring, etc., and ensuring the quality of our ML systems and data infrastructure architecture and design.
* Delivering customer-facing and internal ML solutions that enable our devices to provide the best experience for our customers.

Basic Qualifications
* Experience contributing to the system design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing AI/ML systems.
* Software development experience
* Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
* Experience in building scalable machine-learning infrastructure.
* Experience with building LLM and/or GNN models.
* Experience with machine learning libraries and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
* Experience with Supervised and Unsupervised ML
* Experience with the complete software development lifecycle of machine learning solutions.
* Excellence in technical communication with scientists and engineers.
