Machine Learning Engineer Why We Have This Role We are seeking engineers to take our Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence R&D strategy to the next level. Our aim is to personalize the Qualtrics experience by employing ML and AI features that showcase Qualtrics data as a key value proposition and competitive advantage. As a Machine Learning Engineer at Qualtrics, you should enjoy building simple solutions to address complex customer problems. Things You'll Do - Develop robust, quick, and best-in-class solutions to resolve complex business problems. - Work in close coordination with, and incorporate feedback from other specialists, tech-ops, and product managers. - Participate and contribute to design reviews, architectural discussions, requirement definitions, and other technical activities in various capacities. - Attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with colleagues, prioritize features, and work urgently to deliver value to customers. - Find speedy ways to prototype and test potential solutions to large problems. How You'll Grow - Work within a multi-disciplinary team to implement, optimize, and commercialize leading-edge machine learning models to satisfy the demands of our rapidly growing business. - Construct and maintain highly scalable data pipelines to clean, anonymize, measure, and index intricate and multi-modal data. What We're Looking for on Your Resume - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields. - Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, complexity analysis, and performance. - Over 5 years of programming experience with at least one modern programming language such as Java, C# or Python, including object-oriented design. - More than 5 years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and ongoing systems. - Experience in technical communications with both technical and non-technical colleagues. - Profound understanding of machine learning model life cycle management. - The ability to define system architecture and evaluate the feasibility of various designs. - Experience in developing cloud-based software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability. This team constructs core machine learning infrastructure and services. For full-time positions, this pay range is for base salary per year; however, the base pay offered may vary based on location, job-related knowledge, education, skills, and experience. For part-time or intern positions, this pay range is for base pay per hour. An employment offer may include a sign-on bonus and restricted stock units, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on eligibility criteria.
