Schrödinger is looking for a Battery Machine Learning Infrastructure Engineer to join us in our mission to enhance human health and quality of life through the creation, dispersion, and use of sophisticated computational methods! As part of our Machine Learning team, you'll be instrumental in creating cheaper, more efficient batteries and pushing the boundaries of classical quantum mechanics approximations. You'll also have the chance to interact and collaborate with colleagues from many diverse departments and disciplines.

Your responsibilities:
- Aid in accelerating research and the operationalization of groundbreaking and innovative projects.
- Generate, store, and train on data sets consisting of millions of quantum chemistry simulations.
- Enhance a containerized development and deployment method for a machine learning platform.
- Create scientific validation tools to ensure high performance of machine learning models amidst changes in code and data.
- Develop tooling to provide team members with simpler access to cloud burst CPUs and GPUs.
Experience appreciated:
- Implemented containerized system on Kubernetes in production.
- Expanded CI/CD systems to enhance engineering or scientific tempo.
- Managed and provisioned infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Supported GPUs on cloud systems.
- Developed or upheld multi-platform tools.
- Worked with large-scale distributed computing (PBS, Slurm, MPI).
- Possessed degree in classical science - chemistry, physics, biology, or related fields are a huge plus!
