Join Our Team as a Machine Learning Engineer

We're on the lookout for talented individuals with diverse backgrounds to join us in shaping the future of transportation. We are currently seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to be a part of Aurora’s Maps ML team. This team is essential in providing real-time map data to the Aurora Driver amidst constantly changing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Online Maps autonomy team to enhance and develop perception algorithms for the Aurora Driver.
• Research and create cutting-edge deep learning/machine learning models to improve perception in various scenarios.
• Develop innovative verification and validation technologies and techniques.
• Partner with engineers from online maps, simulation, and safety to ensure the readiness of online mapping technology without a vehicle operator.
• Build infrastructure and tests to support critical decisions for deploying the Aurora Driver.
• Integrate, test, and deploy production-ready solutions into the Aurora Driver's production code.

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in software engineering using Python and/or C++.
• Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Strong background in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or other AI-related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience in self-driving vehicles, autonomy, or robotics.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Proven track record in machine learning through top-tier publications in fields such as CVPR, ECCV, ICML, NeurIPS, and others.

Salary Range: $144k-$216k per year.
The final offer will be based on your skills, experience, and market conditions. Additional compensation includes annual bonuses, equity, and benefits.
