Internship Opportunity: Machine Learning Engineer Intern - Auto-labeling
We are seeking a passionate full-time machine learning intern for a duration of 6 months or more. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in 3D scene reconstruction and understanding.
Our Mission: To solve autonomous driving challenges. As part of our machine learning research team, you will contribute to building AI software systems, learn deep learning algorithms, and deploy your technical expertise to enhance autonomous driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop industry-level 3D reconstruction algorithms using massive data from surrounding cameras and LiDAR to support self-driving auto-labeling.
- Train large vision models to interpret reconstructed 3D scenes for pre-labeling multiple perception tasks, including detection, segmentation, and tracking.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to deploy and maintain efficient auto-labeling pipelines for continuous ground truth generation.
- Explore and implement new techniques and publications to address complex production challenges.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related fields.
- Familiarity with geometry-based 3D reconstruction tools/methods like SfM, MVS, Colmap; a background in computer graphics is advantageous.
- Experience with learning-based 3D reconstruction methods such as NERF, 3DGS, differentiable rendering; knowledge of generative models like GAN and diffusion models is a plus.
- Proficiency in writing clean and efficient code in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Mastery of at least one deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or PyTorch; experience in large-scale distributed training is advantageous.
