Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement scalable machine learning and deep learning models to address complex problems in finance and economics.
• Collaborate with various business units including the Investment Bank, Commercial Bank, and Asset Management to integrate AI solutions.
• Lead projects from ideation through to the deployment of scalable machine learning applications in production environments.

What We Need From You

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• At least three years of professional experience for VP level positions.
• Proven track record of developing machine learning projects, with a deep understanding of data science principles and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical and analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a strong work ethic in tackling complex analytical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in time series analysis, NLP, speech recognition, or financial engineering.
• Strong mathematical and statistical analysis skills.
• Published research or contributions to major conferences or journals in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Reinforcement Learning.
• Experience with GPU computing and cloud-based neural network training.
• Contributions to open-source projects in Machine Learning and familiarity with big-data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
