As a Machine Learning OPS Engineer, you will innovate and simplify processes for our customers, positioning NN Group as a 'digital first' company. Leveraging your active and solution-oriented mindset, you create technical AI solutions that add significant business value, while also enhancing the skills of your fellow data scientists through knowledge transfer and coaching.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of AI-driven applications, particularly using OpenAI's GPT models, ensuring security, scalability, and repeatability.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists to enhance the Machine Learning Lifecycle, emphasizing code quality, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
• Be vigilant about security and compliance rules within NN.
• Deploy AI models into production as APIs.
• Maintain and develop the Machine Learning infrastructure to fit within the NN landscape.
• Develop high-quality AI applications based on CI/CD, rigorous testing, and monitoring practices.

Team Collaboration

You will be part of our Competence Center, joining a team of several data scientists and a Machine Learning OPS Engineer. You will work closely with your colleagues, exchanging specialist knowledge for efficient and scalable solutions. Together, we work on state-of-the-art solutions using Python and Azure cloud, fostering a learning environment that goes hand-in-hand with freedom and responsibility.

About You

You thrive in developing low-maintenance, well-designed production applications and enjoy sharing your vast knowledge. You are known for taking your colleagues through your processes and your excellent communication skills. Additionally, you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field with strong IT components, and at least 3 years of work experience.
• Experience in Software/DevOps engineering and developing ML applications.
• A working understanding of the data science process, including data collection, cleaning, model review, and implementation.
• Experience developing (Flask) APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferable experience with building applications in the Azure Cloud, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch.
