What You’ll Do

As a Machine Learning Researcher in the Spatial Perception Team, you will work on Generative AI and multimodal foundation models. Our team has a stellar track record, leveraging multiple sensors such as FaceID, RoomPlan, and hand tracking in VisionPro. Focused on building experiences powered by our sensing hardware and extensive foundation models, you’ll be part of a diverse and fast-paced team based in Cupertino.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to advance the field of generative AI and multimodal foundation models. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and evaluating foundation models based on the latest advancements in the field, considering future hardware designs and product requirements. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with several teams within Apple to deliver top-tier products.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong academic and publication record (CVPR, ICCV/ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
• Solid programming skills with Python
• Deep understanding of large foundation models
• In-depth knowledge of multi-task, multimodal machine learning domains
• Familiarity with deep learning toolkits
• Experience with the challenges of training large models and handling extensive data
• Ability to communicate analytical results clearly and effectively

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package. The base pay range for this role is $170,700 to $300,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
