Job Description

- Adhere to Tesco's Business Code of Conduct with integrity and due diligence
- Responsible for understanding the outcomes of different markets and implementing analytics projects that yield significant returns
- Drive value through high impact projects and automate repetitive tasks for efficiency
- Monitor and calculate return on investment for Analytical Investments
- Accountable for accomplishing team objectives, managing partners and addressing issues
- Establish robust ways of working through reusable frameworks and manage code and knowledge
- Develop analytical assets to be deployed in production for sustained value delivery
- Collaborate with colleagues to design, implement, and assess analytical solutions
- Build and lead a successful team, creating an environment for success and inspiring them through daily conversations
- Solve problems hands-on with data and applied mathematics
- Initiate and design continuous improvements to enhance team performance
- Diagnose and offer solutions to operational challenges using specialist knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques like Linear & Logistic regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, XgBoost and Neural Network
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Hive and a visualization tool (such as Tableau)
- Skills in Stakeholder Management, Operations Delivery, Analysis and Judgment, People Policies and Processes, Basic Statistics & Math
