At Scotiabank, we are committed to delivering results within an inclusive, high-performing culture. We are currently seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence & Decision Support to join our team. This role is integral in delivering quality Financial Profitability results to our International Banking business operations while supporting the MIS team in data quality assurance and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Perform quality assurance activities on Segment Financial data
  • Support data management activities related to Finance FP&A, including new requirements, data quality/integrity testing, data analytics, and data governance
  • Assist in data development and analysis to address key business issues and management requirements
  • Collaborate with various teams (Segment/Countries/Corporate) to operate BI Tools such as MIS/Segment cubes, EGL/OBI extraction, and Power BI models
  • Continuously seek and evaluate opportunities to improve processes, quality, and coordination with stakeholders in Toronto and other countries

Required Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience (an asset)
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, Financial Engineering)
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in analytical problem-solving and conceptual thinking
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage tight deadlines, solve complex problems, and balance conflicting priorities
  • A solid understanding of IB or Global Finance’s operations and processes (an asset)
  • Experience with Power BI (an asset)
