Job Responsibilities

• Identify key growth, strategic, and optimization opportunities through data and effectively communicate these findings to the business teams.

• Supervise and train a team of junior data analysts

• Oversee and manage the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards.

• Work with large datasets on data extraction, cleaning, analysis, visualization, and presentation.

• Facilitate data-driven decision making by identifying, structuring, and executing product and performance analyses.

• Foster cross-functional partnerships with product, marketing, sales, and engineering teams to influence key business decisions.

• Design, carry out, and analyze A/B tests with the Growth team

• Equip teams with actionable insights, and reduce the number of business decisions made without leveraging data

• Conduct training sessions on data analytics for other teams within the company

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience in a related field

• 4-5 years of relevant analytics experience

• Prior experience working with large data sets is preferred

• Experience managing a team of data analysts

Minimum Qualifications

• Solid understanding of statistics (e.g., A/B testing, hypothesis testing, time series forecasting, etc.)

• Strong proficiency in BI data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Google Data Studio)

• Expertise in SQL and comfortable querying large datasets.

• Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Google Sheets or Excel)

• Outstanding stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capable of counseling with data, and delivering data-driven insights to different types of audiences.

What will make you stand out

• Proficiency with Python or R for data analytics (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, dplyr)

• Thorough understanding of the EdTech market, specifically in the context of Bangladesh

• Prior startup experience
