Role Overview: Manager, Business Intelligence

As the Manager, Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive BI strategy, and designing and building sophisticated analytics tools that are user-friendly. Key Responsibilities

On a typical day, you will:

• Develop solutions leveraging the company's Business Intelligence (BI) platform.
• Drive strategic and tactical design and deployment of BI processes and procedures.
• Ensure BI applications enhance business decision-making capabilities.
• Design strategies for deploying solutions using leading industry BI tools.
• Create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to align priorities, build development plans, and communicate solution design recommendations.
• Define and enforce standards for sustaining the platform’s effectiveness.
• Mentor and train analytical resources on best practices; communicate success stories across the company.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent related work/military experience.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
• Experience with data modeling and integration (ETL) designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or a master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Certified Business Intelligence Professional and R/Python certifications.
• 3+ years of experience in BI and data analytics solutions.
• Knowledge of machine learning and related libraries (R, Python).
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and SQL best practices.
• Experience handling structured and unstructured data using Hadoop or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with various database architectures (Netezza, Oracle, Postgres, etc.).
