Job Description

We are currently seeking a Manager of Data Engineering to lead a dynamic team of technologists, driving real-world impact and outcomes for our enterprise clients. In this role, you will help some of the world's most renowned brands evolve into more digitally-focused entities by transforming their needs into insightful, actionable solutions.

Your Impact:

• Serve as a trusted advisor, utilizing data to enhance customer acquisition and engagement during significant digital transformation initiatives.
• Promote and implement large-scale data platforms, connecting brands directly with consumers and fostering significant business transformations.
• Translate client requirements into technological solutions, closely collaborating with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
• Contribute technical expertise to solve complex business challenges, resulting in innovative data integration and database system designs.
• Ensure all technical deliverables maintain a high standard of quality through development standards, adherence to these standards, and participation in code reviews.
• Provide mentorship and support, managing a team of professional engineers.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Python, Spark/Pyspark, and other relevant technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Spark on Amazon EKS and EMR systems.
• Experience with Databricks, ETL tools, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Experience managing workflows with Airflow and understanding of Dbt for data transformation.
• Background in Financial Services Data Engineering is advantageous.
• Architect certifications in AWS or GCP are preferred.

Position Level: Manager

Pay Range: $140,000 - $185,000
