About the role:

As the Manager, Data Engineering at DoubleVerify, you will steer the talented data engineering team towards achieving unparalleled successes in automated display campaign strategies. Responsible for scripting OKRs and formulating the team's roadmap, your leadership will ensure operational excellence and innovation. Your efforts will bolster not only in-house team efficiencies but also enhance our product offerings through developmental contributions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and guidance of the Data Engineering team.
• Strategic planning of project developments and task prioritization.
• Advancement and implementation of OKRs and the Data Engineering roadmap.
• Development and maintenance of ELT jobs, APIs, and libraries to facilitate robust data solutions.
• Contribution to the development of reverse ETL processes for seamless data integration.

Location: Paris, France

Minimum Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience in data or software engineering.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Expertise in SQL & Python and adherence to the KISS principle for programming.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new programming languages and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with large datasets and expertise in distributed systems, information retrieval, or large-scale software development.
• Continuous engagement with emerging data technologies and frameworks.
