What Does Zenith Data Governance Do?

Our Data Governance team collaborates with Analytics, Engineering, and Technology Activation teams to design and enforce effective data management processes. We ensure data quality, consistency, and availability to produce efficient marketing performance reports. By understanding key decision points, we apply, document, and execute the correct business logic. This mined data optimizes campaigns and helps clients connect with their target audiences in meaningful ways.

What Does a Successful Manager Look Like?

Successful managers at Publicis Media are passionate about emerging tech and media, data-driven in decision-making, and skilled problem solvers. They bring fresh perspectives, embrace challenges, and continuously seek to learn more. Preferred candidates have prior experience in media analytics, especially in digital media, and are comfortable representing their teams to clients.

A strong background in numbers and data visualization, coupled with at least four years of professional experience and one year of managing junior staff, is essential. We value diverse perspectives and encourage individuality in our team.

What Does a Data Governance Manager Do Day-to-Day?

Managers work closely with their teams of analysts, providing day-to-day guidance and support. They contribute intellectual capital by designing and implementing standardized data management processes and protocols. Acting as Business Analysts, they produce clear documentation to facilitate data processing automation and work collaboratively with Associate Directors to execute department visions. Our Managers are mentors, project managers, and thought leaders all rolled into one.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of work experience in media or a related field
  • 1+ years in a managerial or supervisory role
  • Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for fields such as STEM, Economics, Marketing, etc.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience querying relational databases
  • Familiarity with digital media and analytics tools (e.g., Ad Servers, Measurement Vendors, BI Software)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including working with macros, advanced formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets
  • Understanding of various online advertising media channels such as Search, Display Banners, Email, Contextual, and Social
  • Possess world-class customer service skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with third-party research partners such as GfK, Nielsen, and comScore
  • Familiarity with ad verification tools like IAS, Moat, etc.
  • Experience with data from DMPs and DSPs
  • Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data manipulation languages

Additional Information

We maintain confidentiality in accordance with EEO guidelines.

Compensation Range: $81,500 - $105,000 annually. Our pay range is based on skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the position requirements. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range as needed.
