Position Overview

At Colgate-Palmolive, we understand the vital role of data and are committed to transforming it into a strategic asset. We are seeking a meticulous Data Governance Manager to oversee the development and execution of data governance, controls, and compliance frameworks. This role entails collaborating with diverse teams to ensure that policies, standards, and procedures align with our strategic objectives and regulatory mandates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Strategies: Formulate and roll out data governance strategies, policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Monitoring: Oversee compliance processes, lead investigations, and generate reports on any violations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with global data offices, privacy, and information security teams to integrate data governance controls into key processes.
  • Training and Communication: Design and deliver training and workshops to enhance data governance knowledge and practices across the organization.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management activities, implementing measurement systems to monitor adoption, utilization, and proficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in data governance and risk management at the enterprise level.
  • Track record in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation, change management methodologies, and project management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CDMP certification.
  • Familiarity with data literacy, governance, and management standards and policies.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $158,000.00 USD

Compensation is based on numerous non-discriminatory factors, including experience, education, skills, and location. Additional benefits include annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives (for Executive-level roles).

Salaried employees are also eligible for a robust benefits package, which includes:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, AD&D, and Disability insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.
  • Minimum of 15 days vacation/PTO leave and 13 paid holidays annually.
  • Minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave annually.
  • Up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
