Position Overview: Manager, Data Operations (R-16243)

The Manager, Data Operations will spearhead the strategic and operational leadership for the Small Business Financial Exchange and Small Business Risk Insight teams within the Data Content Management sector. This pivotal role focuses on expanding our data assets, enhancing database capabilities, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with product and data acquisition managers. The successful candidate will also optimize operational processes in compliance with relevant agreements and regulations.

Essential Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight and management of team members and production operations.
  • Develop talent within the team through leadership and direct feedback.
  • Engage in quality control initiatives to bolster support of products, services, and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners on continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support the agile development cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Strengthen relationships with strategic partners and augment data supplier engagement to boost growth and retention.
  • Enhance team performance through active recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and mentoring.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in Data Operations with strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, JIRA, and Business Objects.
  • Experience in Lean and Agile methodologies for managing technical projects and business processes.
  • Strategic acumen with a demonstrated ability to influence high-level stakeholders in a global setting.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills coupled with robust program management capabilities.
  • Dynamic team player with analytical prowess and stakeholder management skills.
  • Independent self-starter equipped to manage priorities and achieve strategic objectives autonomously.
  • Familiarity with change management, and cross-functional project and program management methodologies.
