Join Our Team: Senior Manager of Data Science at Clarivate

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Senior Manager of Data Science, specialized in real-world evidence (RWE) and proficient in generating insights from claims and electronic health records (EHR) real-world data (RWD). Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager of Data Science, you will:

• Lead and expand a talented team of data scientists, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, and data analysts.
• Deliver RWE and advanced analytics projects to our clients in the U.S., EU, and APAC across pharma, MedTech, biotech, and healthcare industries.
• Guide the development of analytics accelerators and deployment platforms to enhance and scale our services.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Analytics and other leads to provide top-tier consulting services.
• Identify appropriate data and methodologies and translate findings into actionable insights for clients.
• Manage resources effectively to ensure the successful completion of client projects.
• Mentor junior data scientists and analysts in developing advanced machine learning solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor and coach to help your team navigate complex RWD/E analytics challenges.

What We're Looking For

Minimum experience, education, and skills required:

• Advanced degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, economics, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and around 3 years of managing data science teams.
• Experience in the MedTech, biotech, or healthcare sectors, with a focus on RWD and executing RWE studies.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, predictive and prescriptive analytics, SQL, and Python. Proficiency in R is a plus.
• Comfortable with code management best practices, such as git workflow.
• Innovative mindset with ideas on utilizing advanced methods (AI/ML) for solving RWD/E problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We are dedicated to delivering top-notch analytics and insights using Clarivate’s RWD product for clients in the pharmaceutical, biopharma, and MedTech sectors.

Working Hours

You will be expected to work from 12:00 PM IST to 9:00 PM IST, allowing for effective collaboration with our US team. Slight extensions may be required based on project needs.
