Job Description

As a Manager-Decision Scientist at Tesco Bengaluru, you will:

• Adhere to Tesco's Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity and diligence.
• Engage directly with business teams to identify their core objectives and translate these requirements into actionable analytical projects.
• Take charge of creating and executing long-term strategic plans that align with business priorities, identifying significant opportunities for additional value creation.
• Institutionalize effective work methods, exhibit thought leadership, and promote best coding practices and knowledge management within the team.
• Drive impactful projects and process automation to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and implement frameworks to measure business impact and ROI for analytical investments.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and maximize impact delivered per colleague.
• Lead and mentor a team, fostering an environment conducive to success with challenging goals and inspirational interactions.
• Champion personal growth by creating tailored development plans for team members, helping them advance their skills and careers.
• Initiate and lead functional initiatives that continually advance the capabilities of Enterprise Analytics.

Required Qualifications

• Deep knowledge in Applied Math including Regression Analysis, Tree Based Algorithms, Neural Networks, and more.
• Proficiency in tech tools such as Python, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, and PyDash.
• Strong expertise in retail management, partnership management, analytical thinking, problem solving, and people management skills.
