Are you ready to be a Titan? The engineering organization at ServiceTitan is seeking a dynamic leader to drive our data science strategy and support our ongoing growth. This role requires someone with experience in managing and growing a data science team within a product company, with a strong understanding of business goals and organizational strategy. You'll work with stakeholders across the company to build a global data science competency.
Drive Model Development: Lead the entire model development lifecycle from ideation to operations.
Collaborate with Product Teams: Partner with the Product organization to identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
Educate Organization: Teach the company how to leverage AI/ML for superior results.
Ensure Data Quality: Ensure high-quality data collection and validation for the Data Science team's success.
Implement MLOps Framework: Design and implement scalable infrastructure for ML models deployment.
Research New Techniques: Continuously explore new methods to enhance model capabilities and development processes.
Align with Leadership: Work with Engineering and Product leadership to align on roadmap and deliverables for ML model deployment.
Stay Updated: Keep up with new technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative ideas that advance ServiceTitan's goals.
Team Management: Hire, manage, grow, and retain a high-performance data science team.
Educational Background: MS/Ph.D. in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience: 4+ years in data science leadership roles.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced machine learning methods, data mining, statistics, optimization, classification, forecasting, and/or NLP. Expertise in SQL and familiarity with big data systems. Coding experience in Python, R, Matlab, or similar statistical languages (Python preferred).
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex concepts to business stakeholders.
Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Written and Presentation Skills: Strong written and presentation communication skills.
