Job Description Summary:

This role focuses on supporting our Global Internal Audit Team by integrating data analytics from the initial idea to execution. The successful candidate will report directly to the Global Head of Internal Audit Data Science Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data analytics to enhance audit processes.
  • Support the internal audit plan and collaborate across multiple functions and time zones.
  • Develop strategic partnerships within the Internal Audit team and with other PayPal business units.
  • Manage and implement large enterprise initiatives within the Internal Audit team.
  • Handle significant workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience and Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in External or Internal Audit within a dynamic financial services environment. You should also possess:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or Google BigQuery.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate internal relationships.
  • A passion for data-driven decision-making and an understanding of the online payments business.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Prior financial services industry experience.
  • Experience with data analytics tools like Arbutus Analyzer or ACL.
  • Knowledge of robotic process automation tools.
