Who We Are Looking For

If you are someone with:

• A keen understanding of operational metrics and a proven record in analytical solution design and deployment.
• Hands-on experience in predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms, such as anomaly detection, NLP, LLM, and CVML.
• A strong grasp of forecasting algorithms and machine learning accuracy implications.
• The ability to autonomously thrive in ambiguous environments, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities for delivering tech and domain-specific content to diverse audiences.
• An collaborative mindset focused on the collective team and project success.

Role Responsibilities

As the Manager of the Machine Learning team within the WW Sales and Operations Advanced Analytics group, you will:

• Lead and expand a team of top-tier data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Partner with data engineers and infrastructure teams to design and implement scalable analytical solutions, ensuring seamless integration into our processes.
• Communicate complex analytical results effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Cultivate an environment that fosters innovation and continuous learning and development.
• Collaborate with business teams to pinpoint opportunities, comprehend requirements, and convert these into impactful technical solutions.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A PhD or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of industry experience, with at least 4 years in managing and developing high-performing data science or ML teams.
• Expertise in machine learning and data science, with proficiency in Python and data acquisition tools.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this role is between $183,400.00 and $275,600.00, which will vary depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. Apple's comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental coverage, retirement benefits, discounted products, and tuition reimbursement schemes, among others. You might also be eligible for bonuses, stock options, and relocation support.
