About the Role

At Manulife's Global Wealth & Asset Management division, we are revolutionizing our company by leveraging data and analytics as strategic assets. As part of this transformative journey, we are seeking passionate individuals to lead in our Chief Data Office. This role is instrumental in transforming how we utilize data to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison for all market data inquiries globally.
• Forge strong relationships within the company and with external data providers.
• Aid the Procurement team with vendor negotiations by offering key insights and detailed analysis.
• Analyze and manage data consumption and spending, and develop metrics and dashboards.
• Streamline data use and enhance process efficiencies across the organization.

Who You Are:

You are driven by curiosity and the challenge of delivering impactful data solutions in the financial sector. You thrive in team settings and are adept at managing complex data-driven projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience in asset management or related financial services.
• Deep knowledge of buy-side market data vendors like Bloomberg, MSCI, and others.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally Microsoft Power Apps/Automate.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary and Benefits:
