Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily task guidance to a team of software engineers.
• Set overall expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
• Identify dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications aligned with business requirements.
• Proactively resolve issues before they impact customers, understanding leadership objectives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure the team's work complies with standards, agreements, and business needs.
• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect, and prioritize diverse representation within your team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of code-level development in PySpark, Databricks, Big Data, and 3+ years of coaching and mentoring experience.
• Proficient in AWS/Cloud Technologies and designing/implementing data pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Familiar with container and container orchestration tools such as ECS, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Experience leading technology projects and managing a team of 10+ technologists.
• Skilled in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Expertise in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Snowflake experience preferred.
