Job Title: Data Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

As a Data Engineering Manager, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Designing and implementing distributed, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Building ETL pipelines on cloud-based platforms.
• Utilizing your solid Python and advanced SQL experience.
• Essential experience in data warehousing and data modeling.
• Applying practical knowledge of design patterns.
• Building loosely or decoupled systems using microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive NoSQL and distributed caching experience.
• Using code repositories like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Developing REST services (Spring Boot, Spring, or Dropwizard) is a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Working within an Agile methodology and mentoring team members.
• Exhibiting strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Translating client requirements into technical specifications for implementation.
• Demonstrating project management skills.
• Managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Keeping up-to-date with fast-changing trends through self-development.

Mandatory Skills:

• Python and advanced SQL
• Springboot/API Design/RESTful Webservices

Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of work experience is required. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computers/IT.
