About the Team:

Our additive technology group is pioneering in large-scale additive manufacturing, utilizing the Stargate 3D printing platform. Collaborating with robotics engineers, data scientists, and system engineers, our team propels Relativity’s technological advancements. This integral role involves working on the interface of hardware and software to enhance our innovative technologies comprising robotics, autonomy, and advanced simulations, directly contributing to our Terran R rocket and defense industries.

About the Role:

As Manager of the Robotics Software Engineering division, you will be instrumental in architecting a high-performance in-house robotics controls platform. This initiative is crucial in supporting the development and operation of our large-scale additive manufacturing systems. You will be at the vanguard of designing and implementing robust Linux-based systems for real-time robotic and industrial automation applications.

Your responsibilities will include hands-on software development with a focus on Linux kernel customization, leading a dynamic engineering team, fostering collaborative software and hardware integrations, and promoting safety and quality in all developments.

About You:

With a BS or MS in Computerurse.puter Science, Robotics, or a related field paired with over 8 years of direct experience in software development in Linux environments and leading engineering teams, your expertise will propel our innovative projects forward. Your technical proficiency should include robust knowledge in robotics kinematics, motion control, and networking with fieldbus protocols.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with ROS2, experience in integrating sensors and computer vision, and a deep understanding of robotics systems integrations.

Compensation: Base salary range from $194,000 to $218,000 USD per annum, subject to qualifications and experience. This is part of a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance employee experience.
