Meet the Team

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, SDK Mobile App SW Test Development to join our expanding R&D V&V organization. This player/coach role will be hybrid, with 2-3 days a week onsite in San Diego.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for V&V project operations, including planning, implementation, and execution of test case design and automation for SDK releases.
• Design and develop test automations in Java, Kotlin, or Swift for Dexcom CGM SDK, following software requirements and design specifications.
• Create mobile app test tools for Android and iOS platforms to support Dexcom CGM SDK product automation.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases to validate Dexcom CGM SDK software functionalities.
• Document test plans, protocols, and reports with detailed results and requirements traceability.
• Record and track issues in JIRA and collaborate with development teams to investigate root causes.
• Ensure compliance with internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures.
• Engage with employees to improve work efficiencies and conduct regular performance reviews.

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience:

• Previous experience managing engineering teams and successfully handling complex initiatives.
• Experience in software test development and the software product development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in OOP languages such as Java and Python.
• Knowledge of Swift or Kotlin for mobile app development or unit test development.
• Understanding of regulated industries and compliance procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong “can do” attitude.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 8-12 years of industry experience and 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Salary: $128,600.00 - $214,400.00
