Job Description

As Manager, Data Engineering, you will lead the Marqeta Parser Team under the direction of the Data Platform Director. Your role is crucial in enhancing our innovative, high-tech environment that aligns with Marqeta's strategic vision and dynamic culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of Marqeta's Data Parsing services, overseeing design, implementation, and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a robust technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
• Lead and expand a high-performance team, focusing on empowerment and development of team members.
• Champion engineering principles to enhance service quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and optimize production services to ensure exceptional user experiences.
• Engage in internal and external initiatives to boost Marqeta’s reputation in technology realms.

What We’re Looking For

• Over 7 years of experience in data service or large-scale data application roles.
• A history of successful team leadership and a proven ability to attract top talent.
• Strong visionary with a deep understanding of customer-centric approaches and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with effective communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is CAD $126,000 - $167,000, complemented by a performance-linked bonus, equity, and various benefits such as:
