Position Overview:

Join BMO's Wealth Data & Analytics team in a pivotal management role within the Wealth Management sector. This position focuses on Data Management and Governance, playing a vital role in supporting data-driven decision-making across various high-growth financial services including Digital Investing, Private Wealth, U.S. Wealth, Asset Management, and Insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be instrumental in:

• Implementing data management and governance across all Wealth Management business lines.
• Developing and managing data dashboards, performing data analysis, and ensuring data quality alignment with stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborating with business and technology teams to manage metadata, data flows, and datasets crucial for business intelligence and regulatory compliance.
• Strategically guiding curated data/models aimed at enriching business strategies and stakeholder needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Improving and maintaining data quality management.
• Supporting technological implementations and system validations.
• Analysing both structured and unstructured data to support business models.
• Driving the adoption of data strategies and governance policies.
• Ensuring compliance with data management standards and practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, relational databases, and AWS frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, and statistical analysis tools (R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability in data-driven decision making.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field. Technical proficiency and prior business experience are highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:
