Join Our Market Data Analytics Team as an Associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

At JPMorgan Asset Wealth Management (AWM), we are dedicated to transforming into a data-driven culture. We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our dynamic and high-velocity Market Data Analytics (MDA) team. This position is at the heart of capturing, modelling, and distributing vendor-sourced data critical to corporate success, focusing particularly on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data, Corporate Fundamentals, Funds, and unstructured data sourced from industry-leading third parties like Morningstar, MSCI, Sustainalytics, FactSet, Bloomberg, and Lipper.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst within MDA, you will take on end-to-end responsibilities to onboard new datasets effectively. This includes everything from user requirement analysis, data profiling, and modeling to product delivery and ongoing consumer support. Your day-to-day tasks will involve running SQL queries to identify key data relationships, collaborating with tech teams for data integration, and ensuring data quality and accessibility to meet diverse consumer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the onboarding of new data sets, ensuring thorough profiling and seamless integration into existing systems.
• Maintain robust partnerships with vendors and technology teams to enhance data quality and solve issues rapidly.
• Communicate effectively with consumers to determine critical data needs and facilitate bespoke data solutions and testing.
• Generate and manage detailed project plans, scorecards, and governance reports to maintain transparency with all stakeholders.
• Proactively engage with Operations partners to optimize processes and implement best practices in data handling and analysis.

What We Look For

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in technology, consulting, or finance, with a solid understanding of financial service businesses. Experience and familiarity with ESG, Corporate, Funds, or Instrument Analytics, alongside a proficiency in SQL and Excel, are highly valued. Strong organizational and project management skills are a must, along with superior analytical abilities and proactive risk management.
